John originally grew up in Bristol but now lives in deepest darkest
Cornwall, where he divides his time between family life and that of an ageing skateboarder.
Throughout his life Johns artwork has been heavily influenced by his love of
history and the landscape around him. (This fascination probably began as a nipper with all those family holidays to
forests and castles in Wales).
John has survived art college, solo and group exibitions, and an appearance
on television dressed as a Mesolithic caveman (not a pretty sight).
His artwork and illustrations have appeared in books, magazines and newspapers. As
well as on television, skateboards and shoes.
He also makes outdoor sculpture, Zines, short films and a cracking cup of tea.
